'Obsession': What are 'Safe' Wishes to Make?

Kind of basic, but I saw this post that showed how twisted any wish could get and was wondering what wish can't be twisted.

Would any of this have been twisted if he had just wished for her to love him period?

yes, wishing for someone's emotions to change is a twisted action in itself, but I'm talking about would it have gotten so gory?

All quiet on Labaron?

I'm wondering why not a lot of people are talking about Philon. when it comes to all players in the 5-14 range, they all have weaknesses; for Labaron, it's his weight; only putting on 2 pounds since the last combine at just 176. but of all the weaknesses in players' games, weight/strength is the most solvable. He's coming off a good sophomore season at Bama with:

  • PTS 22.0
  • REB 3.5
  • AST 5.0
  • FG% 50.1

I think just with a few pounds, his game and experience could translate well for us, and he could become a big player with his high IQ and high motor on both sides of the ball. I think the Nets should be looking at him more if Acuff is off the table, whether it's at 6 or moving back in the draft. I like him as an option more than Wagler or MBJ.

I want to hear more talk on him.

Should we Trade up into the top 5?

Even if it's just one spot with the Clippers, should we do it for security, and maybe even a chance at C-dub?

If so, what are some packages? Would it include one of the rookies from last season?

Brooklyn Bound A-Train

I seriously can't understand why there's any debate, Acuff is the clear pick at six, and I'm praying on my last legs as a Nets fan that they pick this guy. I'm tired of this size over skill mindset teams are adopting.

  • PTS 23.5
  • REB 3.1
  • AST 6.4,
  • 3-1 AST- TO ratio

on near 50% from the field!? and 45% from 3?

and I'm seeing people talk about Wagler? Like, I don't get it, he better go 5, which he probably will as he better fits the Clippers' needs. He's a good shooter, but even then he's no Acuff, he's a decent defender with size but severely lacks athleticism even at that size. BK doesn't need another system player, we need a guy that's going to entertain and build that culture the team desperately needs. Fans need a guy that will put them in seats. The Barkleys is quiet every game, and the only noise is away fans. MPJ himself is saying Nets need a #1.

Acuff is touted as the most NBA-ready guard Calipari has coached and that's from a long list of D-rose, Fox, John Wall, Booker, SGA, Murray, Herro, and others. To pass up Acuff is just not an option, even with the other guards at 6. IT IS CLEAR!

The only weakness I see in his game is his defense, but that is more than fixable. whether it's bringing in complementary players or improving his effort on D. All players have flaws out of college, so there's no reason to pass up.

And don't come here with Cam Thomas comps. this man is far more efficient and has exceptional vision to pass. even with that said, as a fan, I loved Cam; he gave fans something worth watching in dark times. With Acuff, he'll give us that and more doubt.

He can lead us, as he led a Razorbacks team off the rip. I want his future to be ours.

He's my pick.
