I’m a visual artist (murals and paintings) from Canada with an Italian background traveling to Rome next month and would love to hang out with any artists in Rome to learn about and meet people from the contemporary art scene!
I’m 35 female going to be staying in Rome mid Sept for 6 days and I don’t know if I should stay in pigneto or trastevere or I have an option to stay in celio (which is right by Monti). I want to make connections and meet people. Also don’t want to be doing the typical sightseeing where it’s packed with tourists (vatican, colosseum, trevi fountain etc). My objective is to make connections with people. I do speak a bit of italian as I am Italian-Canadian. Where should I stay? And what are good ways to meet people? Also if there are any other women around my age who will be there mid September message me!
