Stay on fixed 5kW or apply for dynamic 10kW export limit ?
I have a 10kW solar setup (north-facing roof) + Powerwall 3 in Auckland on the Vector network.
Currently on a fixed 5kW export limit. I’m considering applying for the dynamic export limit up to 10kW.
How often does the dynamic limit get throttled (below 5kW) in practice ? Judging by experiences in Australia - there seems to be quite a bit of throttling during sunny periods. So I’m wondering if it’s actually better to just stay on the fixed 5kW.
