Are there any good alternatives to Rustdesk?

I have now reached the point that I need an alternative but similar tool to Rustdesk. Does anybody have any good solutions.

Why do I want to move away?

The Android client. It is still very buggy and with my disabilities I am finding it increasingly more difficult to use. I use it on my Android tablets, one for downstairs stuck in my chair, the other for when I'm bedbound. I suffer from cervical stenosis and cauda equina syndrom. I also use it with tailscale when I'm in hospital.

It randomly adds characters to the end of words when I'm typing

Invoking my tablet's keyboard moves and resizes the screen's canvas

A slight drag on the screen while moving the mouse moves the canvas all over causing me to have to exit the keyboard and goto reset canvas.

It randomly turns on shift lock and, for example, clicking on one file opens everything in the directory. It's a nightmare trying to type in passwords that are case sensitive.

Any suggestions for a free/cheap alternative for 6 PCs will be much appreciated.

Android client very buggy

I have a number of problems when using the Android rustdesk client connecting to windoze or Linux PCs.

The screen canvas changes and moves when opening the keyboard.

The shift key will lock for no apparent reason. To clear this requires a double tap on the keyboard's shift key, tap the shift key top of screen or close and reopen the keyboard.

The clipboard constantly fills up with keypresses.

In terminal after typing the first word pressing space doubles the last letter.

Because of my cervical stenosis I only have about 10% feeling in my hand. Frequently part of my hand touches the screen and end up with a double finger. This moves and or resizes the canvas. There is no way to keep it from doing this.

Grieves me to say it but I might have to go back to TeamViewer. 😭

Graywolf and Signalink no tx

Hello everyone

I have installed Graywolf, an alternative to Direwolf, but I am having problems getting it to transmit. The PC is running Linux Mint, signalink usb and a (yes I know!) baofeng HT.

I have checked the wiring jumper links in the signalink, they're fine and the tigertronics cable is the correct one for the radio.

The setup works fine but transmit doesn't. I have tested the Signalink to make sure it works. Using the Linux mint sound program I can do a speaker test and it happily transmits from the Baofeng.

The output audio device is set for the same usb interface but although it tries to beacon it doesn't produce any audio or activate the Signalink ptt.

Does anybody else have this problem. BTW it worked in the original direwolf.
