Hello I am looking to book a flight to Vietnam for September 2nd with landing being late September 3rd/September 4th.

I have never solo traveled before, my flight options have connecting flights to Chicago and Seattle.

Is there anyone in either of those cities willing to just travel with me to Vietnam, specifically Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) to calm my anxiety.

I am looking to go to HCMC, Vietnam Spetmber 2nd. Is there anyone in the KS, OK, MO area also going that would like to meet up if we go to the same airport?

I have never traveled abroad before nor been on a plane before so my anxiety is killing me but I will be on a plane in June for a domestic flight.

I am wanting to plan a trip to Vietnam (HCMC specifically) to go see a friend for an extended stay. Flight will cost me 1.4-1.6k USD in total.

Just need opinions and advice on how far out should I plan this trip, roughly how much money to save for the trip outside of the flight tickets as I will be there for 1-2 months.

Also have never travel abroad before so if anyone else is wanting to or already have planned when you are going in the KCMO area lmk, maybe could meet up at the airport depending when I figure out exactly when to do this trip.
