Is bruiser Jayce worth it?

Yesterday I played a game where my team was full of Squishies and my enemy was garen, so instead of playing Jayce I ended up going with tahm so my team could have a tankier front line (my top lane picks are pretty much Jayce, Tahm and ornn rn)

In that specific scenario I'd probably always go with a tank anyway, but I was wondering, is bruiser Jayce worth it?

I'm thinking probably a build along the lines of

eclipse>manamune>BC>shojin>Death's dance

Is it worth building when your team lacks a strong front line or does Jayce lose too much damage without lethality?

I've always been a titanic main with occasional kraken or CRIT games, but after endless hunger released I realized ability haste is the most busted stat on Briar

I'm still trying it out but I think this 3 item core is really op

This is mainly a substitute for the titanic start, sundered sky still gives you the same stats (the passive makes up for the 200 HP and passive) while giving you 10 haste which helps a ton and allows a lot more plays

Briar's kill threat relies entirely on her W, so the sooner you get a lower cool down on it the more kill threat you have

I'm even thinking about going with haste instead of double adaptive force on my rune page, sure it might mess up my clear but 18 haste at the first item seems busted
