I am using an 8610 MG#5 SRI GC setup for field use. This is my first time using an FPD, I am trying to calibrate H2S, COS, DMS, and CS2. I am getting consistent area counts when I calibrate the instrument, but the following day when I run a calibration check my area counts usually drop but I have also experienced them increasing, this is after I have conditioned the GC. I am using a dilution system for my calibration gas that uses Teflon tubing, is this causing my area counts to change? I am not sure what else would be the issue I have not changed any of my flows or other setpoints.
