Mods Note: “Why Was My Post Deleted?”
Reposting because this has been coming up again recently:
“Why was my post deleted?”
In an attempt to combat the flood of AI slop, Reddit has become more aggressive about automatically removing/filtering posts or comments it decides are spam. This has resulted in many “real” posts and comments being removed or filtered.
We are trying to check the “removed” and “needs review” queues at least once a day, and will manually approve any inadvertently deleted posts (which resurrects them). Please WAIT for this manual approval and do NOT attempt to re-post the same post multiple times. Please do not message us asking for manual approval. If your post is manually approved, please do NOT subsequently go back and edit it, or the Reddit system will likely re-delete it.
If your post or comment has ACTUALLY been deleted by the mods, you will see a removal reason (i.e. no cross-posts, no vendor self-promotion, etc.).
If you’re not happy with the way the sub is being moderated, let the mods know and we will refund 100% of your subscription fee, no questions asked!
