Advice on monitor(s) for PS5 and WFH
Am looking for / hoping to get some advice on what would be a good monitor solution for my situation. I am looking to purchase (a) new monitor(s) for two reasons:
- To use for gaming with my PS5
- To use for Working From Home (i.e. To connect my work laptop with as extended displays)
For the gaming purpose, I'm looking for a good quality OLED screen with good resolution etc. But, as PS5 does not support ultrawide, I am limited to standard 16:9 screens. So, I was thinking of getting a dual monitor setup: one more 'high-end' OLED monitor for gaming, and then one more standard monitor, purely for working purposes. The idea thus being that I can game on the high end OLED monitor and can use both monitors when working, without 'wasting' a high end Ultrawide monitor that I wouldn't be able to properly use for gaming anyway.
I was wondering if anyone had any advice/feedback on this approach. Would you recommend it, or are there obvious drawbacks that I may be missing?
If not, any advice on which monitors to go for? I would prefer two monitors from the same brand, to keep somewhat of a uniform look.
Budget: probably about 1000EUR for both at most.
