What’s a good way to make practical effects smoking?
Me and some friends are planning on making a short film for fun over the summer but we need a way to mimic the smoke of a pen or smoking, I want to find a safe drug/nicotine free way to get that kind of smoke in a small handheld way that preferably looks like a pen. The best option I’ve found so far is herbal diffuser pens but those still aren’t good for your lungs and preferably I’d want to use something that produces only vapor/mist and would not cause damage to the lungs. We are on a very small budget since this is just for fun and we don’t plan on making any money from it.
Any input or suggestions would be amazing!
Just to clarify they would not need to look like a pen or vape they would just need to be small so they can fit into a hand made prop that I would want to fake smoke out of.
