Is it OK for me to buy a domain to sell to someone else? For example, if I take adidas-shoes.com and offer it to Adidas for $300. Can this be a problem?

Thought it was OK but research told me sometimes companies don’t want to set the precedent and will go through the UDRP process to take the domain. They might even sue me and I can potentially get fined $1k to $100k.

Do large companies commonly have this “no cyber squatter” policy?

If so, how do people invest in and sell domain in a fair and safe way? Who will be the ultimate buyer?
