Tried a few local sourcing platforms again recently just to compare prices and shipping.
But honestly I think I’m still sticking with Alibaba.
Main reason is transparency. I like that you can actually see factory videos, past orders, response rates, and how long suppliers have been active. Makes it feel less random.
Last month one of my shipments got messed up during transit. I was already preparing for a long argument lol. But the supplier just handled it through the platform and resent the order pretty fast.
That kind of after sales support is honestly hard to find elsewhere from my experience.
Alibaba definitely isn’t perfect and you still need to filter suppliers carefully, but compared to some other platforms I’ve tested lately, it still feels the most reliable overall.
