"Don Callis On If He Would Add Women To Don Callis Family: “I Like My Boys; I Like My 6’3, 32-Inch Waist, Phenomenal Athlete Wrestlers”" [Fightful article, May 26, 2026]

Don Callis when asked about adding women to his family on Busted Open After Dark:

“Oh, I like my boys. I like my six-foot-three, 32-inch waist, phenomenal athlete wrestlers. I’m just so enamored. This is my area of speciality is taking these young men and being able to be a sort of father figure in a sense. Not in a positive way necessarily like Christian (Cage) was but, for me, it’s more about saying I’ve gone through a lot in the wrestling business. People have tried to victimize me; I’ve had friends like Tommy Dreamer turn on me multiple times and try to bury me and stooge me off. All of those things. I’ve been through a lot and I think I have a lot to offer my young men. It’s almost like the Don Callis school for incorrigible boys. That’s actually a great faction name.”

"Mark Davis Talks Aussie Open Signing With AEW In 2023, Says Tony Khan ‘Took Care Of Us From The Jump’" [Fightful article, May 22, 2026]

Mark Davis in an interview with Sean Ross Sapp:

”It was very hard to argue against the way that we were being treated when we were brought into AEW. It’s like, ‘Well, this is the best we’ve ever been taken care of inside of professional wrestling. We have a boss that listens to us. Who’s receptive and is  just there to have a chat with makes it a lot easier to bridge ideas,’ and everything surrounding it just felt like it was the next progressive step in our career and the smartest and best options to take.

“I think I can speak for Kyle, but I’ll speak for myself. It’s not a decision that I’ve regretted a single day since I’ve signed here. When I had signed, before I had even signed, Tony was very gracious to me and took care of me when I had to get like a meniscus scope. I had a little bit of junk in my knee floating around and just had to get a little bit of a clean up. He was really gracious. He covered that. He really took care of us from the jump and he has like every day since. So I think it’s a great place to work and to grow and present professional wrestling. I’m excited for where it’s going to end up in the years to come.”

"Christopher Daniels Opens Up About Why He Chose Hangman Adam Page To Be His Final Opponent" [Fightful article, May 15, 2026]

Christopher Daniels speaking on Highspots:

“The funny thing is at the time, he (Hangman Adam Page) was one of the top heels. He was getting a lot of real good heel heat. Especially in his feud at the time with Jay White, he was getting a lot of heat and I wanted to do something that would have benefitted him in the end so I thought to myself, if he were to retire me, if he were to injure me so badly that I couldn’t wrestle again, that would be heat for him. But, what happened between the time of me pitching the idea and the actual match happening, he started to turn babyface, but, as that happened, he and I discussed how the match could stay the same but the ramifications and the repercussions of him retiring me were gonna be different, now that he was becoming more of a popular character and credit to him, he cut one of the most amazing promos setting up this match that I’ve ever heard. I went and cut a promo maybe an hour before him and thought, oh, that was a pretty decent promo and then he went and just blew me away an hour later and just threw me in the dust basically, and you know, most credit to him how well-thought-out (and) well-put-together his character was and his promos were putting that match together…”

Tony Khan on the Battleground Podcast:

“There are a lot of great cities in Mexico that we have not been to yet. We’ve been to Mexico City but I think there are more opportunities. Guadalajara is a great town… There are so many great places that I’d love to go to. I mentioned Guadalajara. I think that’s one good opportunity for us that could be an awesome place to visit. There are also a lot of big international cities. There’s never been AEW in France, Italy, Germany. These are great markets for pro wrestling and where there’s lots of AEW fans.”

Tony Khan on Markin Out with MVP & Dwayne Swayze:

“It’s something to me where, when I watch ‘The Godfather’ and I think it’s so perfect, and I can watch it over and over, and then, they actually went out and managed to make a movie in ‘Godfather II,’ of the same standard that complements the original. They go together so well. That’s the rivalry between Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada. They made this incredible, incredible match that, to me, is like ‘The Godfather,’ it’s the perfect match, and then they have gone out with their rivalry and managed to maintain that level of perfection and do something that is not repetitive, it’s complementary. That is the standard of Kazuchika Okada vs. Kenny Omega."
