Hello everyone!

I'm on day 9 post op from a scalpal vasectomy.

I'm like 90% feeling back to normal (some rare very mild discomfort and still some swelling, unless my balls were always this big?) but I am having some issues with one of the incision sites.

The wound on the left side generally lies under my weiner, and is healing pretty well. It has a small scab but no real issues.

The right incision site however, I just cannot get a scab to stick. The scab keeps growing into my underwear or jockstrap, and sticking / peeling when I take them off.

I thought finally it was scabbed over good yesterday, but then today when I went to pee I peeled the whole scab off! A little bit painful, a tiny drop of blood or two, but I'm pissed because it is just resetting the healing process.

Does anyone know what could help? A lot of what I've seen online says Vaseline? Any experience is much appreciated 👍

Hello all!

I had my procedure done on Thursday, and it's been a little over 43 hours since the surgery.

The surgery was alright (needle poke was the worst part for me) and recovery has been alright. Terrible "kicked in the nuts pain" the first day, and my poor boys are still very sore/sensitive to any movement.

However, my worst pain / greatest discomfort is coming from my abdomen, sort of near my left hip bone. It really feels like the sort of pain when I have bad gas or constipation or something? It's noticeably worse when I stand up.

Has anyone else experienced this sort of pain / discomfort, and could it be indeed the vasectomy that is causing it? Or do I just need a productive trip to the restroom 😭

EDIT: It's not constipation or gas! If you are experiencing this sensation in the future and Google has led you to this post... DO NOT be like me and take a laxative! All that did was make me have testicular and abdominal pain AND diarrhea 🙄
