Hi, new to immich, managed to sync my library and now the app is generating corrupt thumbnails for the files.

the library is external and made of a mixture of jpg and nef files (Nikon RAW). only the .NEF files are affected apparently.

Didn't find a solution on the subreddit. your support is appreciated.

Update: Some RAW files from my old D3500 are working, I'll let the import job finish and come back with another update

Update 2: Administration → Settings → Image settings → Prefer embedded preview

this setting solved this issue. Apparently immich has issues generating thumbnails, using the ones embedded in the RAW file solved the issue.

I have these windows in my apartment, and for the life of me, I can’t find the replacement latches. Locally, the only answer I get is that they don’t exist.

On AliExpress, I can find similar windows, but they never seem to be the same. The window piece itself is also impossible to remove.

Has anyone ever worked with something like this?
