Hi,

I am currently in the final stages of competition for a position where I have regulatory priority and it has been indicated to me I am the preferred candidate. I was wondering if a person with statutory priority expresses interest in the position does the hiring manager have to notify me of this? The position is with in the same organization I am currently with however it is within a different department. My priority is due to spousal relocation for work.
