I was merging from one highway to another and I had to get over two lanes in order to actually get on the highway.

I let the truck driver pass me on the left before quickly getting over behind him. My chance is slipping, if I don’t slip behind the truck now, I risk having to get off the highway entirely.

What I see next horrifies me: an oversized load banner.

I check my rear view mirror and confirm my greatest fear. Yes, my dumb ass merged between an oversized load and the follow truck.

Thankfully the next lane over was completely clear and so I immediately bailed. But I feel completely horrible for having cut off the follow truck, and I would like to confess my sin and beg god for forgiveness.
