Everyone's watching oil but the real Canadian story is helium!

A third of the world's helium supply has been offline since Iran's strikes on Qatar's Ras Laffan in March and prices are surging. And Canada sits on the world's fifth-largest reserves. The semiconductor industry can't make advanced chips without helium as a coolant. South Korea imports 60%+ of its helium from Qatar. Samsung and SK Hynix are already signing emergency contracts with Western suppliers.

Names to watch on the TSX:

- Helium Evolution HEVI

- Pulsar Helium PLSR

- Desert Mountain Energy DME

- Avanti Helium AVN

- First Helium HELI

Is anyone holding any helium stocks?

Share your thoughts whether it is a good buy comparing to other opportunities on the market.

What is the best long-term investment strategy for a Canadian investor?

IMHO the best risk-adjusted asset allocation strategy would look something like that:

Equities (~30%): like XEQT.

Long-term bonds (~40%): ZFL (iShares treasury bond ETF) or similar government bond ETF.

Intermediate bonds (~15%): ZAG (BMO aggregate bond index ETF) or XBB.

Gold (~7.5%): CGL (Canadian gold ETF) or PHYS.

Commodities (~7.5%): ZCOM (BMO commodity index ETF) or HCOM.

Will it give absolutely the best return? Absolutely not! Obviosly it would be better to invest all in some rapidly growing company but it is very risky. But if someone wants to invest and don't spend much time checking their account this strategy should be the best mathematically long-term.

T.TO future trends

I'm wondering if anyone can offer educated opinion on the future of Telus. It looks like a fundamentally solid company with a significant market share but it keeps disappointing from a growth perspective.
