Kidnap attempt or I am overthinking
I just came back from a 10 day trip from Japan. We were staying in Tokyo at IHG continental in Akasaka, Me and my daughter 11 years went out at around 9pm for a walk.
While I was trying to find a 7/11 near by on map, she drifted some mtr away from me and was waiting at corner , near bus stop. Suddenly I saw a white taxi / car with black tinted glasses , stopped few mtrs away and the door opened, i immediately sensed something and called my daughter's name to get her attention and make her walk towards me,
While the door was open, no body came out of that taxi after learning I was nearby and with her, the door closed and the taxi fled away. This all happened in like 8 to 10 seconds.
Am I overthinking, or was it a kidnap attempt on my daughter ? Is this common in Japan ? Maybe the locals can guide me. This has been disturbing me since then.
