Hi All

Just wanted to share a fun little thing that happened to me this week,
I am officially one week and a day post op

After surgery I thought the brace was set
Two days after I went to PT and no one mentioned anything about my brace being unlocked? They just said my recovery is going great and minimal swelling

Now one week out I had my second PT , no one mentioned anything about the brace again LOL
I had my follow up post op appointment and I asked if the positioning of the brace was ok cause I saw the numbers where slightly off by a little, that’s when my doctor noticed and said my brace was unlocked

I just laughed cause it’s been unlocked for a week and I had no idea ☠️☠️☠️ mind you he locked it today and I definitely felt a difference

Overall ig I should have also paid more attention to how to lock the brace when I first received it haha
Just a little psa to make sure you ask/check your brace

Hi all, at first I was scheduled for an ACL reconstruction surgery, once they got in there it ended up being a meniscal reconstruction instead so I am very grateful for that as it seems the recovery time is way less.

I got surgery this past Wednesday, and I’m thinking of going back in the office tomorrow. Is that doable? Has anyone gotten back into an in person setting quickly after surgery?

The thing is my job is very flexible, so they should be able to accommodate for me to either work remote or do half day in office and half day at home since my commute is less than five minutes driving.
