Anyone have suggestions for getting a refresher/summary on book series that you are jumping back into after a longer break?

(I have tried a few ways with AI, but its laughably bad at it)

Jumping around between series, and sometimes just the length between releases, kind of muddies my memory on what was happening.

There was a series I listened to recently that did a summary of the last book(s), which was amazing and skippable if you didn't need it. Big props to any author doing that.
