Scout Rifle Choice

If you had the pick to build a scout rifle out of... which would you do? I already have the rail and 2 scout scopes.. I also have Ruger American Ranch Rifles in:

300blk 1st Gen,

300 blk 2nd Gen,

450 Bushmaster in 2nd Gen,

6.5 creedmore 2nd Gen.

I thought at first I wanted a 6.5, then I wanted a 450 Scout and now Im back to one of my 300blk...

In considering max point blank range I could get 200 yards roughly out of the 450, the 6.5 would do 310. And the .300 could be pretty useful with both sub and full velocity...

Lets hear your ideas.

Basic question. If you wear a neck Knife, do you have a break away lanyard or a secure cord.

Are you more afraid of being choked to death by your cord and thus use a break away design?

Or

Are you more afraid of losing your knife and thus dying without a knife?
