Z7II playback button issues
Hey guys,
I have had an ongoing issue with the playback button on my Z7II and can’t figure out what is going on. Sometimes when using the playback button, it will switch back to shooting mode almost immediately. I thought it was a dirty sensor issue, so I thoroughly cleaned it and still have the issue. The strange part is that sometimes when it is happening, pushing the playback button will do nothing at all, or even trigger the shutter. Has anyone else had this issue? Touch to capture is off, and the camera is on the current firmware
Side note: The hot shoe on my camera is slightly loose (and apparently has to be disassembled to fix), could this be related? Maybe they share the same mounting points inside?
This is an extremely frustrating issue, hopefully someone has some insight, as google has been fairly useless.
