Let me explain. Nikki is my first gacha game, and I used to hear that gacha games basically cost money to enjoy, even if they are technically "free". This is not my experience at all in Infinity Nikki, I have been able to get everything I want without ever spending a cent. For example since 2.0 I got:

2.0: 2 complete 5 stars

2.1: nothing

2.2: 1 complete 5 star + 1 complete 4 star

2.3: nothing

2.4: 1 complete 5 star

2.5: 1 complete 5 star + 100 pulls on the other 5 star.

That's more than half of the 5 stars released, and I still have more than enough pulls to get this patch's 5 star if I wanted to (I don't). How? Well I haven't gotten lucky with my pulls. I'm just a day 1 player that does my dailies every day, doesn't care about fomo and is strategic with her diamonds. That's it. I watch for leaks and I don't pull evolutions (except Nameless Selfless 2nd evo). I also always wait at least 1 day before pulling. I just wanted to share this because there is so much negativity surrounding the monetisation and f2p players feeling left behind. I think there can be room for positivity too. I also think the quality of the banners has on average gone up since 1.0, so whatever you want right now, in the future they are guaranteed to release something even better.
