Just heard the news today. Booked a flight for my boyfriend and I for June using Spirit just two days ago. I'm scrolling on Reddit and seeing people are cancelling their flights through Spirit even though its past the 24 hr refundable time.

For the people who cancelled their flights past the 24 hr mark...did you get your money back? Did you just get credits?

Does anyone know what's actually the best option to get your money back in this situation?

I'm 100% sure that it's better to wait until Spirit actually dissolves then dispute it with your credit card, THEN they'd give your money back if you state that the service was never received.
