P2P fundraising events - challenges with CanadaHelps
I've just wrapped up our annual walk event - it was my first time organizing it, and was thrilled at the number of participants!
A number of people have let me know that they struggled setting up their CanadaHelps fundraising page, and that a number of people had a tough time making a donation to the event.
For your P2P events (walks, hikes, bikes, etc.), how do you help walk folks through setting up their fundraising page? Do you provide a "how to" manual of sorts? Or are you using a different platform than CanadaHelps?
If we don't switch platforms, I'm thinking about taking screenshots as I set up my fundraising page so I can provide visual instructions on what to do, etc. Maybe even the donation side.
Would love to hear what others do!
