The bundle I purchased for this kit came with SO MUCH extra fabric. Not colors I'd normally gravitate towards... so I wanted to use them up. It took forever, but I whipped up a couple more needle turn blocks. I made a pattern from this vintage Lena Eklund flower and some crazy scrappy blocks. I intended to use the honey bear fabric for the whole back, but I thought it better to use every last scrap. It's not perfect, and I think the retro flowers might clash with the elegant ones on the front... but I had to make it more fun. Got it sandwiched and pinned last night. Yay!
