My wife and I are planning some diving on the GBR in late October. We are considering the 3 night reef/cod hole trip with Spirit of Freedom, our only concern is I am prone to seasickness and we only have a handful of ocean dives under our belt (we will be doing refreshers and another 4-5 ocean dives prior to this trip to get more comfortable).
I’ve been told about Lady Elliot and Heron Island options for day trip/offshore diving - this seems to be a alternative option but we are looking for the best diving/experience we can get at our experience level as it is a once in a lifetime trip over to Australia for us.
What would you recommend between the two options?
Just want a sanity check in regards to experience and seasickness (tabs/patches will be a minimum requirement I am sure)
