AAP leader and former Delhi minister Satyendar Jain has been arrested by Delhi's Anti-Corruption Branch, along with five others, over alleged irregularities in Delhi Jal Board sewage-treatment plant tenders.

The case involves alleged manipulation in the tendering process and a suspected financial trail. Jain has denied wrongdoing, while AAP has called the arrest politically motivated.

The BJP says investigators have established a money trail.This is significant because Jain had already spent around 18 months in jail in a separate money-laundering case before getting bail in 2024. Ndtv news
