Looking to replace my broken EW200s, but I want to learn more to find something that suits. Budget is flexible ~120 Australian dollars.
I don't have a lot of experience with IEMs, but I know that I liked the EW200s, my biggest problem with them was obviously durability, even before they broke I would find the pins bent on the cable, it's likely a ME problem that they bent, I still would prefer IEMs that have a different connector or at a thicker base to the connector. Sound wise I guess that clarity is my priority I listen to a lot of low-fidelity indie shit so I like to able to pick up the timbre of sparse instruments and vocalists. I don't use any DACs but I'm happy to buy one if it would help with a certain IEM recommendation. Fit wise I don't have strong preferences since the tips that come with most buds I've tried usually work for me and I know that most IEMs come with multiple. I'm happy to answer any follow-up questions.
