Was harassed by shop worker for looking young
For context all schools are are on summer holidays in ireland and only students in school are doing exams. I'm doing my leaving cert, which is an exam for 18/19 years old, and there's the junior cert for 14/15 year old. I was in a shop and wearing my uniform as it is required for sitting exams and he says to are u doing your junior cert and I said no my leaving cert he literally starts shouting "WHAT YOUR DOING YOUR LEAVING CERT? WHAT? I THOUGHT YOU WERE 13! WHAT?" I simply said no I'm 19. It was so embarrassing
I know I look young as everyone loves to comment on it and it's my biggest insecurity. I Don't understand why he made a performance of it and didn't just say 'my bad'. No one seems to see it as offensive, but it just makes me upset.
