piston rods colour change

not sure if this is a dumb question but is there any reason why in seasons 13-18 the piston rods have like a yellow-ish tint while in season 19 onwards they’re more grey/silver? just something i’ve noticed when watching as everything else about the models are completely unchanged and it’s only the colour of the pistons.
