Air conditioner only cools the basement?
The air conditioner focuses all of its energy on cooling the basement (60f) instead of the main floor, leaving the second floor loft area VERY hot.
Turning the air conditioning temperature down will only make the basement colder. Should I try to cover the ducts downstairs?
We are renting a house and cannot replace the system.
