I hope this is somewhat the correct place to ask. If not, I am very sorry and just remove it...

I had a discussion with a friend of mine, and he was pretending that if my heart stopped beating and I would notice that I could start the heart compression by myself to stay alive. I really, really doubt that. But, Is he right?

Assuming I would notice that my heart stopped beating and I am somehow able to excess enough force for compressing my heart, could I stay alive?!

What would be such a case? A heart attack, maybe? When would just the heart fail, but one is still able to remain conscious. I am really curious 🤔.

What would be my odds of survival?

What should one do instead?
