A website for voting on daily game releases, game swiping & trailer binging
To find new games to play and see when/what game releases, In the past I often used sites like MobyGames or IGDB, but they were overall lacking for me. The design is outdated and they just have a searching function to look for games. No filtering by lots of genre, language, moods etc.
Then I started to become an indie developer (visual novels and mobile games 🙈), I found myself struggling with marketing - finding where the audience sit and get them to see my game. I tried X, TikTok, Instagram etc. but got buried on launch day.
So I made a website where daily releases get voted on and the top 3 also join a weekly voting contest. I also made a release overview across all platforms with as granular to filter as I could so I can find any game for any niche. Also implemented a feature which lets you autoplay game trailers on YouTube based on your filters. Since I spent a lot of time online dating, I also included a game swipe feature 😂
