Uses a Dell monitor and a raspberry pi for the actual program. Cool
photo kiosk
windows 10 but heavily locked down, almost 0 apps and opening settings is blocked.
Looked like a touchscreen, but tapping the display does nothing. Other similar displays are set up around the building and they all work except for this one.
It looks like Android, but then it also could just be a proprietary OS. Hmm
I remember they used to use Windows. Hey, at least they upgraded. And it looks to be a Raspberry Pi!
The text in the console's saying something about the display file not being found. The app is written in Java it seems (JavaFX in the console) and uses a Qt based image player.
Seems to scans for an SD card, loads an image from there, tries processing it, "No such file or directory", and loops.
but it crashed (or maybe they stopped it)
Seems like an OTIS to me but the fixtures look like MAD. Not sure though, only thing I know for sure is it's a hydraulic.
the price checker seems to be frozen, it won't even reboot or do anything
and Windows 11 makes a cameo as well
yes I know it's an iPad but usually it shows only the screen, not the top bar or (obviously) the message box.
and yes, the link actually works in a normal browser: https://cua-test-drive-ui.tesla.com/
good old kiosks
the 5th image showing the action center is literally a Dell all in one PC mounted sideways and is used just to display a static image. Amazing use of a touchscreen computer.
