Any tips for newbie on token saving?

I’m new to cursor and looking for any helpful tips on how to curtail usage. If anyone is kind enough and willing to share. I’m newish to OOP (7months of self teaching) and I liked that cursor lets me continue to grow learning to write code and rewiring how I think mentally.

But i must be doing something wrong here with it. I’ve had cursor for 14 hrs and already at 37% usage. Only used for review and assistance with two scripts. Which while they were fairly complex in a non widely used language, each one was still under 100 lines each.

Any noob friendly advice is greatly appreciated.

WIP Mod ⚠️ Galaxy In Flux

I’m currently developing Galaxy in Flux, a new Starfield mod focused on making POIs feel genuinely inhabited and reactive. (Safe to use with Trade Wars or as a standalone mod).

The mod injects expanded leveled NPC populations into a wide range of locations: outposts, science labs, bio labs, research sites, and similar POIs. So these areas no longer appear empty when you arrive.

Civilians, workers, and local security will spawn organically and behave as if they’re defending their homes, creating a more lived‑in atmosphere and adding real stakes to exploration.

The goal is to make the Settled Systems feel active, populated, and worth protecting.

Features
* Dynamic NPC population injected into a wide range of POIs

* Outposts and labs that feel inhabited, active, and worth defending

* Organic encounters that evolve the tone of exploration

* A more reactive, lived‑in Settled Systems

Step into a galaxy that’s no longer empty and cold, it’s alive and fighting to survive.

Hope to share more when it's closer to release and hope you enjoy!

Thank you to the many of you playing my mods. The support is incredible, I truly mean it!

Trade Wars & Beyond! Update + New Projects Gamerroundup

Hey everyone! I’ve got an exciting couple of updates to share. Trade Wars 4‑in‑1, Gates of Janus just received a quality of life update. You can now start the mod from a proper quest, triggered by a slate in Akila City, right next to the Ship Services building. No more guessing where to begin, just grab the slate and dive straight in.

In other news:

I currently have three new mods in various stages of pre‑production and active development. Not all of them fall under the Trade Wars banner. In fact, one is a brand new vanilla lore heavy mod built on its own procedural generation layer. Because of that, it’ll likely to be incompatible with Trade Wars, but it’s shaping up to be something really unique and different.

I’m also very early in outlining a** **fourth project aimed at expanding end‑game content for a VERY WELL known mod. This idea grew out of some conversations I’ve had directly with that author. That’s all I can say for now though. 😊

And for all the Achievement Friendly players. My Verified Creator application is pending with Bethesda. They’re absolutely slammed right now, which is totally understandable, but I’m hopeful I’ll have good news to share in the future.

If/when approved, I intend to release AF compatible versions of my mods for those who have so kindly requested them.

Thanks for all the support!!

I’m excited to share more as each project gets closer to reveal.
