Dog Dementia - 2am wake up

My mom's 10 year old dog keeps waking her up at 1, 2, and 4 am whining, scratching, and pacing. The Vet has ruled out all other causes and thinks it's dementia. She has already tried trazadone and gabapentin but he still wakes up in the middle of the night pacing ans wanting to go outside.

Is there anything else she can try to help him sleep through the night?

She already keep him on a strict routine, he doesn't drink water before bed, and he sleeps next to the other dog so we feel like that reduces some of his anxiety.

HELP - BETTA SICK!

Hey guys - I haven't had a Betta in years and the last one I had lived 5 years before passing and was never sick. This Betta is only 3 months old and suddenly got sick even though water parameters are perfect and plants are thriving. Any help/guidance would be appreciated.

• ⁠Tank size: 6 gallon

• ⁠Heater and filter? 2 and 78 degrees

• ⁠Parameters in numbers and how you got them: 0 Nitrite and Nitrate, 7 pH, 180GH used API test strips

• ⁠How long have you had the tank? How long have you had your fish?: 3 months

• ⁠How often are water changes? How much do you take out per change? only 2 water changes so far and the 2nd time I wasn't paying attention and accidentally took 50% with the siphon. I treated the new water and heated it before pouring in slowly and refilling.

• ⁠Any tankmates? If so, please list with how many of each: two ghost shrimp

• ⁠What do you feed and how much: betta micro floating betta pellet food with krill and vitamin c (2 every other day). occasionally give a couple dried blood worms as well.

• ⁠Decorations and plants in the tank: anubias, Java fern, bamboo, and two living logs from Petsmart.
