With the heatwaves comes some decent battery charge if nothing else, my solar meter has been stuck between 230% and 250% all day.

For years I have wondered why there are no normal earbuds and headphones on the market. Everything is always super V shaped with as much muddy bass as possible to cram in. I always wondered if anyone at all likes this incredibly bland and unpleasant sound signature and thought it was the companies fault.

Now that I see what people are doing with the new 3 band EQ of the AirPods I understand why we can’t have nice things. Everyone is just pulling bass to the max and that’s it. I know sound is objective but there is no way in hell that sounds good at all. Is everyone just listening to electronic music? Anything with instruments with that much bass boost will lose like 40% of its details. I am super confused.
