Is it okay if the dialogue and succeeding narration (or whatver it is called) from a fic-in-progress are one line/paragraph, or should they be split into two?

"Is it safe?" Astrotrain asked.

Typically, energon cubes were always safe to consume no matter what energy source was used to make them, but that could just as easily mean that nobody had found something that was toxic after the conversion process.

OR

"Is it safe?" Astrotrain asked. Typically, energon cubes . . . (and so on).

This is one of the biggest issues when it comes to me and writing; I feel like I split up things that could be combined so that it doesn't look like just single lines of text across a screen (they can look like actual paragraphs).

I'm pretty sure the stories I have chapters up for are already full of these. Any advice?

Question regarding religious vs non-religous "worship" of the Emperor with Space Marines

Hope this question is allowed, and I'm not sure if this is 100% the right 40K sub for it, but here goes.

So I'm writing a 40K crossover fanfic, and I wanted to know how a Chapter who views the Emperor as a god (Black Templars, for example) compares to one that doesn't view him as a god (Ultramarines, especially, since the MC in the fic is one). Like, if they're talking about the Emperor to someone/ a group of people unfamilar with the Emperor and the Imperium of Man, how would they describe him and talk/praise him? Obviously both look to the Emperor as a powerful figure and invoke His name in combat and prayer (from what I can tell, at least; please correct if needed), but what does the seperation consist of?

I'm not a religious man myself, so I have no real idea how it would compare.

Thanks in advance, and I apologize in advance if my post seems rushed (on a time limit ATM).

Attending my first gun show this weekend. Anything special I should know?

First post here, so I hope this is allowed.

This weekend I'm attending a gun show being held at a conference center (my first one, lol). Having a lifelong i Teresa in firearms which only grew once I moved to the south (GA), I'm interested in ownership in the future. What I want to know is, is there anything special I should know about attending one of these?

I'm well aware of the more obvious rules that not everyone follows like they should (4 rules of gun safety, don't do anything that an idiot would do that would get me tackled to the ground, thrown out, etc.), but is there anything else? If it helps, I'm more interested in looking and learning than buying for a few reasons (housing and money, nothing bad on my record or anything like that).

Thanks for helping someone who wants to join the crowd someday!

Question about being identified during free-roam train robbery.

So I just got done performing a train robbery in free roam using a tactic found on YouTube some years back (not sure how common it is used, but it's basically one where you ride the train to Annesburg, let it continue on past the waterfall to the north of the town, hijack it, the drive it into the long tunnel in Grizzlies East).

So I did everything more-or-less as normal and all went smooth. Guards were killed and looted, passengers were robbed then shot and looted. It was when I was robbing the train's luggage car's safes when I got a bounty *and* was instantly identified by LE even though none were around (to my knowledge) until afterwards (even then, they were outside the tunnel).

I had worn my bandana, changed clothes before I had went onto the train, and did this on a different save a few other times without this happening.

Ideas? If it helps, I used Explosive Revolver Ammo to open the safes (don't see why that would make a difference, though).
