I am preparing to submit several claims. My question is am I wasting my time putting in a sleep apnea claim. I have no service treatment records for sleep apnea.

Evidence I can submit

- I currently have a diagnosis of sleep apnea with the need for a cpap machine.

- I can easily get buddy statements from military roommates documenting my severe snoring. (They used to break my chops about it all the time)

- I did report on my post deployment health questioner that I still felt tired after sleeping.

I have heard that sleep apnea is tough without a sleep study in service so I don’t want to waste anyone’s time with an un-winnable claim.

Any guidance is helpful. Thanks
