What movie adaptation(s) will you not watch because you love the book so much?

Basically the title. I just finished Project Hail Mary (book) about 2 weeks ago and just got home from seeing the movie.

Overall, it was still a good movie, but having read the book I can’t help but compare the two. Basically any time I do this I prefer the book. This made me wonder if I should have just left the magic of the book as is in my mind.

This isn’t my first rodeo. Prior to kids (8 years ago), I was on a 5-day split for over 3 years, good diet, 6-pack, all that jazz.

Then kids. Eventually gym went by the wayside and dad-bod+ came.

8 years later, I’m 36m and have been working out, back into a 3 on 1 off schedule, and dieting for around 5 months. I’ve lost 42 pounds overall as of right now.

Macros are:
1900 calories-ish
Carbs: 210-ish
Protein: 175-ish
Fats: 40-ish

I’ve gained 2 pounds overall the last two weeks (209 lbs, 5’10”). Haven’t cheated and have no idea what’s happening. I’m probably hovering around 12-15% body fat.
