Fractal vs Sigmoid – which is better long term?

Got similar offers from Fractal and Sigmoid (comp isn’t a factor).

Goal:

- Strong engineering skills (not just SQL/dashboard work)

- Better long-term salary growth

- Exit to good product companies

Which one is better for:

- Real engineering work

- Learning in first 2–3 years

- Exit opportunities

Looking for honest insights from people who’ve worked here.

Hey folks,

Help me choose between both these offers pls:

  1. Sigmoid - SDE 1 - 13 fixed + 1 Variable

  2. Fractal - Engineer (Grade 8) - 13.6 fixed + 1.4 committed pay + 1 joining bonus.

I haven't yet countered to sigmoid and i believe they would match it.

Y.O.E - 3

Appreciate everyone's help!

How much would fractal be willing to pay for Azure Data engineer of 3 years of experience. Am not sure of the band they are offering but am pretty sure that my interview went excellent.

The recruiter seems to be trying to delay my offer. Constantly calling me and asking me questions in the name of business justification needed for the expected CTC.

What's the procedure? How do they offer candidates? Do they consider giving a hike on the current offer in hand or only consider CCTC?

I would appreciate some guidance here from the community urgently! You may share your experiences as well that could help others.

Thanks.
