I just started a job with DoE and they signed me in to a 2 year contract. During that time I was reached out by another business for an interview and I have it next week. The other company is with the DoD and the work seems more interesting. If they like me from the interview and offer me a job, would it be a big issue to break the contract I made with my current job? I’m still not sure if I’d take it but I’d like to know if I have the option to do so or I’m a bit screwed with the contract. I have no idea what the contract fully says other than it’s a 2 year contract and that I can’t change positions during that time.
