Need Advice

I attended Chico State in 2017. During my last 30 credits there, I earned about a 1.04 GPA and ultimately dropped out. Since then, I returned to school at SNHU and have completed 30 credits with a 4.0 GPA. I will be graduating with my bachelors in psychology in December.

I'm interested in applying to an MSW program, which requires a 2.75 GPA in the last 60 credits. Based on my calculations, I would be around a 2.52 GPA, so I don't quite meet the requirement. I'm wondering whether admissions committees typically evaluate the last 60 attempted credits (including courses unrelated to my major and any failed grades) or if they focus more on earned credits and coursework relevant to the major.

In addition to my academic background, I worked as a correctional officer for eight years in a psychiatric unit. After leaving that position, I began working as a counselor in a group home and have been volunteering at a hospice program and with CASA.

I'm trying to determine whether I have a realistic chance of being admitted to an online MSW program or whether I should take additional coursework to raise my GPA over the last 60 credits
