“ Thank you for your interest,” a sign of rejection.

A few weeks ago, I had interview with VP and director of a major privately held company.

Everything was going great. We were getting along and were connecting. The director mentioned it will be easy for me to learn applications, and that my runway is short based on my experience.

Fast forward two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them. I emailed HR but there is radio silence.

The thing that struck out was the VP mentioned “ thank you for your interest” couple of times during the end of the interview.

Maybe, perhaps, possible that the VP made his mind to not hire me for whatever reason.
