So should I pull for Sunna or nuh?

Because on one hand I already annihilate everything (so far), but on the other hand Sunna is her BiS.

Hey guys, I need your opinion on this pls (bit of a long one)

Should I pull or skip Sunna for my Ye Shunguang team?

My current Ye team is M6 Ye Shunguang + Zhao (M0W0) + Astra Yao (M2W0). I just full-cleared a Deadly Assault stage with it, so I'm clearing the hardest content fine.

I know Sunna is technically BiS for Ye thanks to her Ether Veil / Sword Force generation, and I even already own her signature W-Engine. So pulling her would be cheap value on paper. The problem: I don't really like Sunna as a character, and Ye is one of my favorite agents in the game.

My thinking is that since I'm already full clearing with Astra, Sunna would just be an optimization on top of "already winning" - and I'd be staring at a support I don't enjoy every rotation. I'm leaning toward skipping her and waiting for a future Ether Veil support for Ye that I actually like, since I can always slot them in over Astra/Zhao later.

But on the other hand, that plan assumes a better, likeable Ether Veil support for Ye will actually show up - and I'm not sure that's safe. Ether Veil generation is a really narrow, Ye-specific niche; most supports don't trigger Veils at all. HoYo tends to design supports around broad universal kits (ATK buffs, Quick Assists, healing) to sell the next DPS, not to re-solve one old carry's resource economy. So it's possible Sunna is just the answer to this niche for a very long time, maybe permanently. In that case "wait and swap someone in later" doesn't get me a likeable alternative - it just leaves Ye slightly under her ceiling forever, and the only fix was the character I skipped. Power creep could also cut the other way and just leave Ye behind entirely.

So my questions:

1. Realistically, how big is the practical gap between Astra M2W0 and Sunna for Ye in current endgame - enough to matter if I'm already clearing?

2. Is there any reason to expect Sunna becoming necessary (not just better) in future versions?

3. How likely do you actually think a future Ether Veil / Sword Force support for Ye is? Is this a niche HoYo tends to revisit, or a one-and-done?

4. For anyone who pulled a meta support they didn't vibe with - did you regret it, or end up benching them anyway?
