I'm not sure it is because my salary really didnt increase and my debt to income ratio high and east coast is expensive but I remember these items as I used to buy them alot and I feel now they changed (shrank in size) and tags are so high. Not sure when did price tags of these so sharply up but to my eye I feel more than 30 40% price increased. I feel these days I cant buy anything😅😂

Lawsuit is the only choice?

Good day everyone very successful researcher here chose US as home maybe not pushing as fast I could to get everything done about greencard( I was dealing with a grief too) . Priority date fell into blackhole of not current filed i485 EAD based on NIW approval nov 2025 finally. My employer 240days h1b extension also ending july 15. I like my work and my research is at point where I am away one inch to become independent PI.

I thought of finding another close university to file H1b for me denovo buying me another 240 days? Not sure it is a good plan. I sent congressional enquiry no success. Simply same memo copy pasted we dont give EAD because your country is in list. It is utterly heartbreaking I dont have even one citation ticket clean slate tax paied on time lived by rules since 2018 here. I feel like Im being abandoned . If My employer had paid for premium maybe I weren't in this situation. Now premium also doesn't help they generally send RFEs then a deeper black hole. I exhausted saving and have nothing anymore to move on. I am stranded... lawsuits put your name in public records online I dont like it. Is it the only choice?

I cant convince my employer to push for a complaint too because it is a huge corporation

I am really at loss research that I dedicated all my time is at point of destruction my personal life which I didnt pay attention to build it firmly doesn't exist no safety net nothing I am hitting hard rock bottom seems no way out of it.
