There should be no excuses for serial eye pokers after watching Sean vs Khamzat. It's surprising to me I've never noticed that Sean never eye pokes even though he's always touching the guard of his opponent to gauge distance and feint that jab, he just does it with a closed fist. It's crazy cause I've heard from other fighters that it's hard to keep your hands closed but with some guys you just never see it cause they are always trying to hit you with a fist and not poke you.
