An Underrated Aspect Of Bob's Game (His Bounceback Factor)

When Bob originally signed a massive contract with Florida, a lot of people were skeptical of it and during his first few years he did anything but quiet that skepticism. He put up 900 and 906 save percentage in the season (900 used to be like 890, so not good at all), he was 77th/85 goalies in GSAE in 2019 on one of the biggest contracts in the league, 74th/98 goalies in GSAE in 2020. A truly abysmal start coupled with his terrible playoffs, 901 in 2019 and 841 in 3 games in 2020 save percentage. It seemed like it was more of what plagued in his early Philly and Columbus days, all for only the cheap cost of 10 million dollars (basically 13 mill today).

But like always, Bob bounced back and proved everyone wrong, he bounced back after Philly gave up on him after 7 bad playoff games over the course of 2 seasons winning the Vezinas in Columbus and he bounced back after his terrible start in Florida and won the Cups (and could've won a Connie in there too).

Hell even in that last Toronto series, game 1 and 2 Bob (even start of game 3) looked like Philly playoff Bob or early Florida playoff Bob, we owned him and then he did what he always did and bounced back and locked tf in, rekting us in the process.

So to give us all more hopium, Bob's bounceback factor is insane, he is a guy that has dealt with adversity all the time, he was undrafted, he was taken off the case many times due to his poor performances, but he always bounced back.
